St. Dominic’s GAA Club provides the opportunity for both males and females, from under 8 up to adult level, to play Gaelic Football and Hurling.

Meets the first Saturday of the month September to June (inclusive).
No formal sessions during July and August. Extra sessions are held in February and March (on the third Saturday of the month). Admission is free. Raffle is held at each session to cover expenses. Special guest each night. The Circle also sponsors a three-day singers festival in Knockcroghery over the October Bank Holiday weekend.

Other activities include the new playground and marina which have been developed at Portrun. There is also Kayak Club which has just been set up in Portrun.
