Angling

41 lakes are within a six-mile radius of the River Shannon. The Shannon has Bream, Rudd, Roach, Tench and Pike. This is an ideal place for the visiting angler. It has good fishing, entertainment, forest walks and boating is also readily available too. The majority of lakes are very well developed as they have stands, footbridges and stiles to cater for the many anglers, visiting the area.
