International Airport (formerly Knock Airport) and with the improvement in
infrastructure is now reachable in approximately two hours from Dublin Airport.

Rail From Dublin you can get the train at Connolly Station in the
centre of Dublin. From here you will get off at Longford Station which is 15
minutes or 16km from Ballyleague or you can either take the train from Heuston
Station as far as Roscommon which is 10 minutes or 13km from Ballyleague. The
train to Longford however is the quickest way of getting to
Ballyleague.
By Road From Dublin: Take the M4 to
Mullingar and from here take the N4. take the N4 as far as Longford and from
here take the N63 as far as Ballyleague From Knock go through
Caracastle, Ballaghaderreen, Frenchpark, Tulsk, and Strokestown before reaching
Ballyleague.

hackney services available in the Lanesboro/Ballyleague area and any of the
